KLIK Mobile Education is a collaborative effort involving a social enterprise development platform, a garbage dumpsite community, educational institutions, passionate volunteers & professionals, and government agencies who all share the same mission to help high school dropouts and bridge them towards productivity.
GKONOMICS was established in 2009 as a partner of Gawad Kalinga in social enterprise development.
It has evolved as a platform that facilitates social impact investments for the poor, bringing together entrepreneurs, partners, volunteers, investors, and disadvantaged communities.
The mission of GKONOMICS is to help the poor through social entrepreneurship. The vision of GKONOMICS is global Filipino brands that do not leave the poor behind.
In its belief that education is the way to break the vicious cycle of poverty, KLIK Mobile Education is one the the social enterprises being incubated by GKONOMICS, pouring and harnessing the resources that it has built up over the years.
The close partnership between GKONOMICS and Puso ng Ama Foundation that started in 2012 led to the Payatas community being the main pilot site for KLIKme.
KLIKme was given access to PNA facilities in the community to implement its pilot program.
Through the combined efforts of KLIKme facilitators Josie Ayson and Estela Millena, Program Head Lissa Moran, PNA ‘s Fr. Paul Uwemedino and Noel Yolores, and Angie Malabanan of DepEdQC, KLIKme had its first batch of Passers in the ALS Accreditation & Equivalency Test 2019 and another batch in 2020!
MINT College is a key partner of KLIKme and has been with KLIKme since the beginning.. MINT wants to be 'known around the world as a leader in education and social entrepreneurship and their partnership with GKONOMICS and KLIKme is a step in that direction.
Together with internationally experienced professionals and educators, MINT president Bal Endriga has put together what he feels will be "the future of education". No longer do the rules of the past apply. He believes MINT will prepare college students to take on the challenges of living and working in a global economy, while preserving the environment and protecting it for future generations. And that's exactly where he intends to take MINT.
MINT trained the KLIKme Facilitators in Payatas and Smokey Mountain in digital literacy and it has been providing KLIKme learners with technical skills training in digital literacy.

STC Directress, Sr. Joseifna Nebres, ICM and Assistant Directress (former Principal) Dr. Teresa Bayle embrace the mission and vision of KLIKme and have been very generous in lending their wisdom, valuable insights as high quality educators, and the resources of STC as an institution to the efforts of KLIKme.
Government need private sector help and KLIKme is a very willing and able partner of the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Technical Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The problem in education is so monumental that close collaboration such as what KLIKme is trying to do with these government agencies is of ultimate importance.
KLIKme has been engaged in regular meetings with DepEd and TESDA to ensure that KLIKme efforts are aligned with the agencies' own efforts and that we served to complement their existing programs.
KLIKme is accredited as a non-DepEd ALS provider.

The FSA at the University of Florida in Gainesville hosts a wide variety of events that celebrates Filipino identity and immerses members in our four pillars of dance, culture, sports, and philanthropy. Through the leadership of Ezekiel Bautista, some FSA members are part of the KLIKme Global Learning Exchange (GLX) by becoming “Kaibigans” of KLIKme learners, giving them hope and encouragement, while learning from them as well. FSA is also a Sponsor of KLIKme learners with their financial donation.
