"I am Filipino. And soon the world shall see the full measure of the greatness of Filipino, for truly the world has yet to see what God can do to and through a child, like the Filipino, who is faithful to the Lord. “
- Excerpt from Alex Lacson's I AM FILIPINO poem
Tagalog Translation
"Ako ay Pilipino. Ako ay tapat na anak ng Diyos. Sa nalalapit na panahon, masasaksihan ng mundo ang tunay na kadakilaan at kabutihan ng Pilipino, dahil hindi pa lubos na nakikita ng sangkatauhan kung ano ang magagawa ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng isang anak, na tulad ng Pilipino, na tunay na nananalig at nagmamahal sa Panginoon."

O my country, when will you awaken to the truth you often refuse to see?
O my country, when will you learn that your enemies you alone can defeat?
If not now, when will you rise?
When else? When there is nothing else you can do?
O my country, when will you rise?
So much blood has been sacrificed for you.
O my country, there is little time left.
Rise up. Rise up o my country.
Be meaningfully present in the lives of the poor. KLIKme provides a opportunity to do that.
Do you know that he Philippines has more than 120 dialects. No matter how diverse we may be, we are one nation. One thing that unites us is music. The Philippines' National Artist for Music, Ryan Cayabyab, presents the rendition, for the very first time, of Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika in 7 dialects by The Ryan Cayabyab Singers: BICOLANO, HILIGAYNON, SINUGBUANONG BINISAYA, ILOCANO, CHAVACANO, MARANAO, and TAGALOG.
Thanks to Atty. Dulce Punzalan who originally put that song together for us with 7 dialects in 2015 for Mabuhay Restop, a social tourism enterprise in Luneta back then. Ryan Cayabyab updated the lyrics and gathered his singers to come up with this. The singers are Poppert Bernadas, Celine Fabie, Kaisch Tiuseco, Anthony Castillo, and VJ Caber. This is their REGALO SA BAYAN.... truly a labor of LOVE.
