Rye Gutierrez is an experienced Call Center Trainor and is the author of the acclaimed book, ”Top 25 Words Every Call Center Agent Should Know.”
He is well traveled, speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese, having lived in the US, Columbia, Brazil, and Cambodia for many years. He eventually settled in Puerto Princesa, Palawan where he set up the Bamboo Hostel and taught entrepreneurship classes at Palawan State University.
He is collaborating with KLIKme to offer Training Course for KLIKme graduates who are interested to work in the BPO industry.

KLIKme History Lesson
During KLIKme's pilot in September 2019, a breakthrough Bridge Training opportunity was presented by a BPO leader, CONCENTRIX, to ALS and Senior High School diploma holders from KLIKme Payatas and Smokey Mountain (and also Baseco) to prepare and apply for call center jobs!
Al Pagulayan, CONCENTRIX Head of Academic & Industry Relations (Luzon) presented this to KLIKme grads. The attendees watched a motivational video on the success story of a high school undergrad who landed a call center job at CONCENTRIX, rose to the position of supervisor, and now owns two businesses of her own. The real-life success story showed what discipline and determination can lead to -- even for those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
None of the KLIKme applicants qualified but this experience emphasized the need to have further training to ensure that KLIKme graduates will be equipped and qualified for future opportunities like this.
